Shelby 'Tex' Atchison 
Shelby 'Tex' was born in 1912.1 Shelby 'Tex''s father was Eugene Grant Atchison and his mother was Martha A. Stewart. He had three brothers and six sisters, named Eulis, Homer, Everett, Riutha, Birdie, Goldia, Rodia, May and Athea. He was the youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 70 in 1982.1 General Notes

ay 2 0, 1982 he was installed in the Nashville Country Music Hall of Fame.
