George Overturf 
George was born on December 22nd, 1798 in Fayette Co.,PA. George's father was Simon Overturf and his mother was Mary DeBolt. His paternal grandfather was Johannes Valentine Oberdorf and his paternal grandmother is Agnes Elizabeth Remley; his maternal grandparents were George DeBolt and Elizabeth Teagarden. He had five brothers and three sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Solomon, Eli, Simon Freeman, Jeremiah Debolt, William Martin, Elizabeth, Minerva, Mariah and Orpha. He was the third oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 64 in 1862 in OH.-
