Sanders was born about 1742 in Orange Co., Virginia.¹ Sanders' father was THOMAS WALKER and his mother was ELIZABETH TAYLOR. He had six brothers named Thomas, James, William, John, Benjamin and CHARLES. He is the third oldest of the seven children.
