CHRISTOPHER was born in 1540 in Thornton, Lancastershire, England.1 CHRISTOPHER's father was STEPHEN THORNTON and his mother was CECILY METCALFE. He had a brother and a sister, named Peter and Gabell. He was the youngest of the three children. He died at the age of 50 in 1590 in England.1
