1 Seraphine's father was Francois Samson and her mother was Perine Jarreau. She was an only child. She died about 1819.1 
‌Seraphine and Francois Joseph were married in a religious ceremony in 1811.1 They had a daughter, and also a child of unknown gender named Seraphine and Julie.
