Ambrose's father is Joshua Joel Meadows and his mother is Judith Green. His paternal grandparents were JOHN MEADOWS and Aubrey. He had six brothers and two sisters, named James, Joel, Henry, Jeremian, Isaac, Benjamin, Mary Ann and Elizabeth. He has two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Anderson, Archibald, Nancy and Martha.-
