Joel Heard 
Joel was born on December 19th, 1788 in Greene Co., Georgia.1 Joel's father was Hurd and his mother was Heard. His paternal grandfather was STEPHEN Heard and his paternal grandmother is MARY Faulkner. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Jesse, James, John, No. 208, No. 209, No. 211, No. 212 and Anny. He was the youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 80 on July 23rd, 1869 in Victoria Co., Texas.1 General Notes
