1 Cliff's father was Emile Gauthier and his mother was Emma Goudeau. He had a brother named Dewey. He died on May 2nd, 1952. He was buried in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.1 1 
Cliff and Emelie Lea were married in a religious ceremony on November 16th, 1916.1 They had a son and six daughters, named Edward, Marie, Annie Lee, Noemie, Emma, Josephine and Betty.
