Elizabeth was born in 1236.1   Elizabeth's father was Bela "IV" de Hungary and her mother was Mary Laskaris.  Her paternal grandparents were Andrew "II" de Hungary and Gertrud. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Stephen "V", Bela, Kunigunde and Anne.  She died at the age of 35 in 1271.1
