John was born about 1792 in Ireland.1 John's father was Joseph Eaton and his mother was Catherine. His paternal grandparents were JOSEPH EATON and ELIZABETH BOYD BEATTY. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Charles G., George, Jane and Catherine. He died on January 27th, 1870 in LaPorte County, Indiana.
