Richard Daniel 
Richard was born about 1752 in Chesterfield Co, Virginia.1 Richard's father was Peter Daniel and his mother was Mary Bailey. His maternal grandparents were JAMES Bailey and LUCY SIMMS. He had three brothers and three sisters, named John, Zachariah, William, Jemima, Lucy and Sarah. He died about 1848.1 General Notes

BIOGRAPHY: sources indicate that Richard moved to Bedford County (that portion which later became Campbell County in 1781) with his father Peter (who had patented land on Bear Creek).
