No. 21 was born on May 18th, 1771 in Amherst Co., Virginia.1 No. 21's father was Thomas Heard and her mother was Heard. Her paternal grandfather was STEPHEN Heard and her paternal grandmother is MARY Faulkner. She had six brothers and three sisters, named Abraham, Joseph, Thomas, Woodrow, Faulkner, George, Watts, No. 24 and No. 25. She was the third oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 67 on July 25th, 1838 in Cooksville, Heard Co., Georgia.1 General Notes
