David Clay 
David was born about 1740 in Henrico Co, Virginia.1 David's father was William Mitchell Clay and his mother is Martha Runyon. His paternal grandparents were HENRY Clay and MARY Mitchell. He had five brothers and two sisters, named William, Ezekial, Obdiah, Meredith, Jessie, Judith and Nancy. He had a half-sister named Mary Elizabeth. He died after 1825.1 General Notes
