Temperance Bell

Temperance was born in 1837.¹ Temperance's father was Burwell Bell and her mother was Altena Ellington. Her paternal grandparents were Burwell Bell and Priscilla. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Burwell, William Henderson, Silas, Rufus, John, Mary, Martha and Elizabeth. She is the second oldest of the nine children.
