Alexandre Charles Barre 
Alexandre Charles was born in 1746.1 Alexandre Charles' father was Paul Barre and his mother was Marie Jeanne Girardy. His paternal grandparents were Jacques Barre and Elizabeth Jette; his maternal grandparents were Joseph Girardy and Marie Jeanne Henry. He was an only child. He died at the age of 83 in 1829.1 
‌Alexandre Charles and Madeleine were married in a religious ceremony on April 9th, 1771 in Pointe Coupee, Louisiana.1 They had three sons and seven daughters, and also a child of unknown gender, named Charles, Pierre, Jean, Julie, Marie Louise, Emilie, Genevieve, Eleanor, Madeleine, Marie and Euphrosine.
