Adelaide Of was born about 1043 in Maurienne, Savoy, France.  Adelaide Of's father was Udo I Eudes Or Otto De Savoy and her mother was Adelaide Adelais Von Suza.  Her paternal grandparents were Humbert Whitehands Of Savoy and Auxilia De Noyen; her maternal grandparents were Ulric Manfredo II Count Of Susa Marquis OfTurin and Bertha Ivrea. She had two brothers and a sister, named Amadeus Amadeo II De, Pietro De Maurienne Count Of and Bertha Of.  She was the second youngest of the four children. She had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Gebhard I Count Von, Hermann I Count and Richwara Princess Of.  She died in 1079.
