Margaret De was born in October 1292 in Caerphilly Castle, Kent, England.  Margaret De's father was Gilbert The Red Earl De Clare and her mother was Joan Of Acre Princess Of England.  Her paternal grandparents were Richard De Clare and Maud De Lacy; her maternal grandparents were Edward Plantagenet and Eleanor Leonor Princess Of Castile Leon. She had a sister named Elizabeth De.  She was the older of the two children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Thomas Nd Baron De and Eleanor.  She died at the age of 49 on April 9th, 1342 in France.  She was buried on April 13th, 1342 in Tonbridge, Kent, Eng.
