Lacy Howell (Hal) SPENCER was born to George Washington SPENCER & Emily Jane CARBY (18 Oct 1883 - 20 Oct 1961) and married Ollie Ann FLOYD, 22 Feb 1905, the daughter of John FLOYD & Gilla READ.

Paul H. Spencer, 86, of Clarkson, died Friday, July 30, 2004, at his residence.
He was a retired farmer, carpenter and a member of Mount Zion Christian Church where he was a song leader for 42 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, May Spencer; his parents, Howell and Ollie Floyd Spencer; a daughter, Ollie Helm; and a great-grandson, Jacob Arnold.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Lacy and Jan Spencer; a daughter and son-in-law, Lois and Roger Tomes; three brothers, Hubert Spencer, Calvin Spencer and Junior Spencer; and a sister, Cova Gibson, all of Clarkson; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
The funeral is 1 p.m. Central time today at Mount Zion Christian Church with Brother Tim Dennis officiating. Burial will be in Mount Zion Christian Church Cemetery.
Visitation is in progress at Rogers-Oller Funeral Home in Clarkson.

Paul H. Spencer
Paul H. Spencer, age 86, of Clarkson, Ky., died Friday, July 30, 2004 at his residence.
He was born September 20, 1917. He was a retired farmer, carpenter and a member of Mt. Zion Christian Church where he was a song leader for 42 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, May Spencer; parents, Howell and Ollie Floyd Spencer; daughter, Ollie Helm; and great-grandson, Jacob Arnold.
He is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Lacy and Jan Spencer of Clarkson; daughter and son-in-law, Lois and Roger Tomes of Clarkson; three brothers, Hubert, Calvin and Junior Spencer of Clarkson; and one sister, Cova Gibson of Clarkson. Also surviving are seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sunday, August 1, 2004 at Mt. Zion Christian Church with Bro. Tim Dennis officiating.
Burial was in the Mt. Zion Christian Church Cemetery.
Rogers-Oller Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
