George SIMPSON
George (Pete) SIMPSON, 75, 1567 Covent Road, Troy, died Sunday 1:35 a.m. in Dettmer Hospital.
Born Dec. 7, 1899 in Troy, He was the son of the late John and Nona ELLIOTT SIMPSON.
Surviving are his wife Irene McGUIRE SIMPSON and several nieces and nephews.
SIMPSON was a member of the First United Methodist Church, past Master of F & A. M. 14, American Legion, and was a veteran of World War I and II. He was formerly employed at the Ohio State Liquor Department.
Funeral services will be Wednesday 11 a.m. at Deeter-Baird Funeral Home, Troy. Rev. Mark Montgomery will officiate. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Troy.
Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday 2-5 and 7-9 p.m.
Franklin Lodge 14 will hold services 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
