Melvina Elkins

Melvina was born on June 29th, 1826 in , Green, Kentucky, USA.¹ Melvina's father was Abel Elkins and her mother was Polly Skaggs. Her maternal grandparents were William Skaggs and Mary Simpson. She had three brothers and five sisters, named William Melton, James, Abel, Rachel, Nancy, Betty, Polly and Diadema. She was the youngest of the nine children.
