David and Catherine were married in a religious ceremony on March 27th, 1806 in Richwood, Union Co., OH. They had three sons and seven daughters, named Hiram, David, William, Elizabeth, Susan, Sarah, Isabella, Esther, Mary and Rebecca.

Susan Hoover
Susan was born on December 11th, 1812. She died at the age of 78 on January 11th, 1891.
Isabella Hoover
Isabella was born on January 24th, 1817. She died at the age of 88 on April 11th, 1905.
