Hiram was born on February 15th, 1809 in Wayne Co., IN. Hiram's father was David Hoover and his mother is Catherine Yount. His paternal grandparents were Andrew Hoover\HUBER and Elizabeth Waymire. He had two brothers and seven sisters, named David, William, Elizabeth, Susan, Sarah, Isabella, Esther, Mary and Rebecca. He died at the age of 58 on November 20th, 1867 in Coffey Co., KS.-
