Constant* d'Aubigne 
Constant* was born in 1584 in Pons, Saintogne, France. Constant*'s father was Theodore* Agrippa d'Aubigne and his mother was Suzanne* Lezay. His paternal grandfather was Jean* D'Aubigne and his paternal grandmother is Catherine* D'Estang. He was an only child. He died in France.General Notes
Constant, Baron de Surimeau, adhered to his Catholic faith, and was denounced by his father, Theodore Agrippa. Constant secured his father's estates. This conflicts with the Dabney claim of being Huguenots in Virginia. Some documents show that for some unknown crime Constant was imprisoned in France, and later exiled to Martinique. He later acquired some colonial interests in the New World.
