Cecily was born about 1471 in Harringsworth, Northampton, England. Cecily's father was John La ZOUCHE and her mother was Joan DINHAM. Her paternal grandfather was William La ZOUCHE and her paternal grandmother is Katherine LENTHALL; her maternal grandparents were John De Dinham and Joan ARCHES.
