Henry Yount

Henry was born on May 23rd, 1828 in Randolph Co, North Carolina.¹ Henry's father was Andrew Yount and his mother was Eva Sinks. His paternal grandparents were William Henry Yount and Marianne Waymire. He had six brothers and a sister, named Daniel, Allen, John, Andrew, George, William and Mary Elizabeth. He was the youngest of the eight children. He had four half-brothers named David Wallace, Enoch J, Robert S and Welthy. He died at the age of 28 on January 16th, 1857 in Yountville, Montgomery Co, Indiana. He was buried in Wea Cem, Yountville, Montgomery Co, Indiana.¹¹

‌Henry and Mary Catherine were married in a religious ceremony on January 2nd, 1851 in Tippacanoe Co, Indiana.¹ They had two sons named Silas Talbot and Andrew Henry.
