Brigham was born on June 1st, 1801 in Whitingham, Windham, Vermont.  Brigham's father was John YOUNG and his mother was Abigail Nabby HOWE.  His paternal grandparents were Joseph YOUNG and Elizabeth HAYDEN; his maternal grandparents were Phinehas (Phineas) (Phenehas) HOW (HOWE) and Susannah GODDARD. He had four brothers and six sisters, named John M, Joseph, Phinehas Howe, Lorenzo Dow, Nancy, Fanny, Rhoda, Abigail, Susannah Susan and Louisa.  He was the third youngest of the eleven children.  He died at the age of 76 on August 29th, 1877 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, UT.  He was buried on September 2nd, 1877 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah.

‌Brigham and Miriam were married in a religious ceremony on October 5th, 1824.


Brigham's second family with Mary Ann Angell

‌Brigham and Mary Ann were married in a religious ceremony on February 18th, 1834.


Brigham's third family with Emily Dow PARTRIDGE

‌Brigham and Emily Dow were married in a religious ceremony in September 1844 in Nauvoo, Hancock, Il.  They had two sons and five daughters, named Edward Partridge, Joseph Don Carlos, Emily Augusta, Caroline Partridge, Miriam, Josephine and Laura.
