Ellen's father was David YOUNG and her mother was Margaret PHILLIPS. Her maternal grandfather was William PHILLIPS and her maternal grandmother is Nancy WATERS. She had two brothers and a sister, named Marshall Shelah, Edgar Phillips and Josie. She died on April 2nd, 1919.-
