Sarah was born on June 4th, 1714 in Avon, Farmington, Hartford, Connecticut. Sarah's father was Joseph WOODFORD and her mother was Lydia SMITH. Her paternal grandparents were Joseph WOODFORD and Rebecca NEWELL; her maternal grandfather was Joseph SMITH and her maternal grandmother is Mrs. Lydia SMITH. She had four brothers and seven sisters, named Joseph, Samuel, John, William, Lydia, Mary, Elizabeth, Mary, Rebecca, Rebeckah and Susannah. She was the fifth youngest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 76 on November 28th, 1790 in Farmington, Hartford, Ct. She was buried in 1790 in , Hartford, Ct.General Notes
