Hannah was born about 1638 in Southampton, Suffolk, New York. Hannah's father was John WIGHT and her mother was Anne COOPER. Her maternal grandparents were John COOPER COWPER and Wilbroe (COOPER). She had two brothers and six sisters, named John, James, Sarah, Hannah, Martha, Esther, UNKNOWN and Abigail. She is the oldest of the nine children.General Notes
