William Ira WEEMS 
William Ira was born in 1772 in , Orange, North Carolina. William Ira's father was John A. WEEMS and his mother was Catherine Goodwin. His paternal grandparents were James Jones WEMYSS and Sarah MACKALL. He had four brothers and four sisters, named John A., George W., Thomas L., James, Elizabeth, Nancy Agnes, Catherine and Sarah.
