John was born about 1663 in , Lancaster, VA.  John's father was John WALKER and his mother was Sarah Fleet. He had a brother and six sisters, named HENRY, ANN, FRANCES, JANE, SARAH, HESTHER and ELIZABETH.  He is the youngest of the eight children.
