Mary Jane Vaughan

Mary Jane was born in 1843 in Linn, Osage, Missouri.  Mary Jane's father was Reuben Vaughan and her mother was Matilda Shackleford.  Her paternal grandparents are Peter Vaughan and Sarah Beasley. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Almond, George Kelly, August, Charley L., Lula Louisa, Elizabeth Virginia and Amelia.  She was the fourth youngest of the eight children.  She died at the age of 17 in 1860.
