Roger was born about 1410 in Tretwr, Llnfhngl Cwm Du, Breconshire, England and his baptism took place in {drymbenog}. Roger's father was Roger VAUGHAN and his mother was Gwladus Verch DAFYDD. His maternal grandparents are Dafydd "Gam" Ap LLEWELYN and Gwenllian Verch GWILYM. He had a brother and a sister, named Watkin and Elizabeth. He was the oldest of the three children. He had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named William, Richard, Thomas, Elizabeth Verchow and Margred. He died in 1471.General Notes
