Blaise was born about 1439 in Barnbarroch, Wigtownshire, SCOTLAND. Blaise's father was Robert VANS and his mother is Euphemia GRAHAM. His paternal grandfather was Johannas VANS and his paternal grandmother is Elizabeth KENNEDY. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Thomas, George, Patrick, Alexander, Miss, UNKNOWN, Mariotta and Margaret. He was the oldest of the nine children. He died on February 26th, 1482 in Barnbarroch, Wigtownshire, SCOTLAND.-
