Jannetje VAN HOUTEN

Jannetje was born on November 2nd, 1699 in Bergen, Jersey City, Hudson, New Jersey and her baptism took place there on November 8th, 1699. Jannetje's father was Helmigh Roelofse VAN HOUTEN and her mother was Jannetje Peterse MERSELISE. Her paternal grandparents were Roelof Cornelissen VAN HOUTEN and Gerritie Cornelis VAN NESS; her maternal grandparents were Pieter MARSELIS and Elizabeth UNKNOWN. She had seven brothers and three sisters, named Roelof, Pieter Helmeghse, Cornelis, Dirk, Jacob, Dirck (Twin), Johannis, Catalyntie Helmigse, Gerritje and Elizabeth Helmeghse. She is the youngest of the eleven children.
