Mary was born in 1666 in <, Of Randolph Co., Nc>.  Mary's father was Henry Sir VANE and her mother was Frances WRAY. She had seven brothers and eight sisters, named Henry, Thomas, William, Rich, Thomas, Christopher, Sons, Dorothy, Benina, Frances, Margaret, Ann, Catharine, Albinia and Daughters.  She is the youngest of the sixteen children.
