Lambert Janse VAN ALSTYNE 
Lambert Janse was born in 1657 in Meppel, Drenthe, Holland, Netherland and his baptism took place there in 1652. Lambert Janse's father was Jan Martense VAN ALSTYNE and his mother was Dirckje HARMENSE. His paternal grandfather was Martin VAN ALSTYNE and his paternal grandmother is Mrs Marten VAN ALSTYNE; his maternal grandfather was Harmen HARMENSE and his maternal grandmother is Mrs Harmen HARMENSE. He had eight brothers and three sisters, named Jan Janse, Herman Janse, Abraham Jansen, Isaac Janse, Marten Janse, Abraham Jansen, Harmen, Lambert, Flammetje, Dorothy and Teuntje. He was the sixth youngest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 46 on October 16th, 1703 in Kinderhook, Columbia Co., New York. He was buried in 1803 in , Columbia Co., New York.General Notes
