William Nathaniel Thaxton 
William Nathaniel was born on September 12th, 1848 in Williamson Co.,Illinois. William Nathaniel's father was Benjamin G. Thaxton and his mother was Pernetta "Nettie" Mann. His paternal grandparents were James C. Thaxton and (Mrs) ???. He had a brother and three sisters, named John Wesley, Mary, Eliza J. and Sarah C. "Sallie". He was the oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 64 on January 9th, 1913.-
