James Alexander Thaxton 
James Alexander was born on June 2nd, 1856 in Kentucky. James Alexander's father was William H. Thaxton and his mother was Elenor "Ellen" Trout. His paternal grandfather was Alexander H. Thaxton. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Henry Cands, William M. Edwin, Isaac Crittenden, Elizabeth Adelaid, Elenor Paralle and Eliza Jane. He was the third oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 65 on December 21st, 1921 in Ripley Co.,Missouri.-
