Christian TORGERSEN 
Christian was born on September 30th, 1842 in Hansborg, Skedsmo, Akerhus, Norway and his baptism took place on November 27th, 1842. Christian's father was Peder TORGERSEN and his mother was Berthe NIELSEN. His paternal grandparents were Torger PEDERSEN and Kari HANSEN; his maternal grandparents were Niels ANDERSEN and Anna OLSEN. He had seven sisters named Dorothea, Anne, Nilla, Dorothy, Kirstine, Caroline and Juliane. He was the fourth youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 57 on August 18th, 1900.General Notes
