Hopestill TILDEN

Hopestill was born on May 1st, 1588 in Tenterden, Kent, England and her baptism took place there on May 1st, 1588. Hopestill's father was Thomas TILDEN and her mother was Alice Bigge Or BIGGE(BIGGS). Her paternal grandparents were Richard TILDEN TYLDEN and Elizabeth GLOVER; her maternal grandparents were Robert BIGGE and Elizabeth Mrs BIGGE. She had eight brothers and two sisters, named Sara, Nathanial (Nathaniell ), Joseph, Hopestill, Theophiliss, Theophilus, Thomas, Freegift, Sarah and Abigail. She was the sixth oldest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 73 on November 19th, 1661 in Sandwich, Co Kent, Eng. She was buried in Sandwich, England.
