Thankful was born on March 21st, 1757 in Of Hopkinton, Washington, Ri. Thankful's father was William TEFFT and her mother was Mary KENYON. She had seven brothers and four sisters, named Hezekiah, Pardon, David, William, John, James, Joseph, Pardon, Polly, Mary and Mary. She was the fourth oldest of the twelve children.
