5 Dec 1666, Fortunatus Sydnor witnesed a deed in Old Rappahannock
County 7 Feb 1666. DB 3:325-327. He witnessed a deed in Lancaster Co,
VA and powers of attorney 2 May 1667 and 8 Jun 1668.Deed Book ??? He
witnessed the deed of Rowland Lawson to brother Henry Lawson 13 Feb
1668/9. Lancaster Deeds 4:60. In 1672 he was authorized to prove his
ownership in the right of his wife Joanna to cattle from the estate of
herkinsman Henry LAWSON. He was commissioned to stake out a road in
Lancaster county in 1676 and was church warden of Christ Church parish
in 1678 and 1679.He purchased 111 acres of land in Christ Church
parish from Thomas & Sarah KEARE 14 Dec 1681.
Virginia Magazine, 30:44. Francis SYDNOR, of Gray's Inn, Middlesex
Co., England in his will dated 1653 names kinsman Fortunatus SYDNOR,
ofGreenwich, in Kent, age about 15 years.

apprize the said Estate and to bee sworn by the next Justice. An
