Nicholas was born in 1599 and his baptism took place in Saint Leonard's Shoreditch, London, Middlesex, England. Nicholas' father was Nicholas SNOW and his mother was Elizabeth ROWELLES (ROWLES). His paternal grandparents were Nicholas SNOW and Elizabeth (or Kathrina) HARWOODE. He had two brothers named Anthony and William. He was the oldest of the three children.
