George Washington SHURTZ (SHIRTS) 
George Washington was born on May 13th, 1832 in St. Clair Township, Columbiana, Ohio. George Washington's father was Peter SCHERTZ (SHIRTS) and his mother was Margaret CAMERON. He had four brothers and five sisters, named King Darius (Derius), Moroni, Don Carlos, Bassi, Sariah Jane, Ann, Sarah Ann, Elizabeth Ann and Elizabeth Ann. He was the oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 25 on June 21st, 1857 in Fort Harmony, Washington, Utah. He was buried in June 1857 in Escalante, Garfield, Utah.General Notes
