Emily Louie was born on June 16th, 1876 in Plain City, Weber, Utah. Emily Louie's father was Lewis Warren SHURTLIFF and her mother was Emily Moorefield WAINWRIGHT. Her paternal grandparents were Luman Andrus SHURTLIFF and Eunice Bagg GAYLORD; her maternal grandparents were William Brough WAINWRIGHT and Eliza Yarnall MOOREFIELD. She had four brothers and a sister, named John Warren, Luman Andros, William Moorefield, Franklin Erastus and Louie Emily. She was the oldest of the six children. She died at the age of 31 on March 28th, 1908 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah. She was buried on April 2nd, 1908 in Salt Lake City Cemetery, Salt Lake, Utah.General Notes
