Joseph Richard SHELTON 
Joseph Richard was born on October 27th, 1883 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah. Joseph Richard's father was George Slowther (Slouther) SHELTON and his mother was Caroline Almira BRITTON. His paternal grandparents were Robert SHELTON and Margaret SLOWTHER; his maternal grandparents are Richard BRITTON and Elizabeth LEE. He had four brothers and five sisters, named George Robert, Frederick Henry, John William, Leo, Margaret Elizabeth, Caroline Isabell, Mary Alice, Harriet Ann and Sussanah Pearl. He was the fifth youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 57 on April 22nd, 1941 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah. He was buried on March 2nd, 1910 in Salem, Utah, Ut.General Notes
