Joseph SHELDON

Joseph was born in 1690 in South Kingston, Washington, Rhode Island. Joseph's father was John SHELDON and his mother was Deliverance PALMER. His paternal grandparents were Isaac SHELDON and Mary WOODFORD; his maternal grandparents were George PALMER and Bethia (Bethiah) MOWRY. He had six brothers and eight sisters, named Ezekiel, John, Isaac, Edward, Roger, William, Patience, Abigail, Deliverance, Elizabeth, Sarah, Abigail, Mary and Dinah. He is the seventh oldest of the fifteen children.
