James SCALES

James was born in 1754 in Nc.  James' father was Joseph SCALES and his mother was Mary (UNKNOWN). He had four brothers and four sisters, named Henry, Joseph F., Nathaniel, Robert, Sarah, Hannah, Agathy and Betsey.  He was the third oldest of the nine children.  He died at the age of 79 on September 8th, 1833 in Rockingham Co., Nc.
