Robert De was born in 1164 in York, England.  Robert De's father was Everard De Ros and his mother is Roese (Trussebut) de Ros.  His paternal grandparents are Robert De Ros and Sibyl De Valognes.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 62 in 1226.
